Raquel Bubar leads the international arm of T Brand, the branded content studio within The New York Times advertising department. T Brand Studio International spans offices in London, Paris, and Singapore. Founded in 2015 to support The New York Times’ global expansion into creative partnerships, T Brand has, under Raquel’s leadership, built a reputation for high-quality content worldwide.
Raquel heads a creative, strategic, and insights-driven team of creative directors, strategists, designers, editors, project managers, technologists, and audience experts who craft impactful stories for global brands. The team has earned international recognition and awards for its innovative campaigns, particularly for partners including Birkenstock, UBS, Philips, Cartier, Wellcome, CREA and Unilever.
Raquel was named one of the 100 Significant Women in Native Advertising and was shortlisted for Campaign U.K.’s Inspiring Women award in the Conquering Creativity category in 2024. She has served as a judge and co-chair of the World Media Awards and Native Advertising Awards, and has spoken at events including Cannes Lions, IAA U.K., IAB Madrid, City Nation Place, nextMedia.Hamburg, VideoWeek London, and AdWeek Europe.
Raquel first joined T Brand Studio in the New York headquarters before relocating to London to establish creative teams in Europe and Asia. Before The New York Times, she led digital public relations at Edelman. She holds an M.A. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.A. in History and Psychology from Brandeis University. Originally from Washington, D.C., she now lives in Ealing, West London, with her husband and son.
