Julia Burton Brown joins as Taboola expands beyond native advertising and launches new tech platform
London, 22 April 2025: Taboola, a global leader in delivering performance at scale for advertisers, has announced recent growth in partnerships and new local U.K. leadership to support further growth.
Over the past 12 months, Taboola has seen significant momentum for its UK operations, recently renewing partnerships with key publishers such as Future PLC, and Reach PLC, whilst continuing to work with prominent advertisers like Samsung, and Vodafone. This year, Taboola announced Realize, a new tech platform that empowers businesses to grow through performance advertising technology that goes beyond search and social, and delivers measurable outcomes at scale.
To support this continued growth, Taboola has appointed Julia Burton Brown as UK Country Manager.
Burton Brown’s appointment follows Taboola’s recent announcement of a new focus beyond native advertising. After more than a decade pioneering native advertising, Taboola is extending its offering beyond this legacy with the introduction of Realize, an industry-first platform that specializes only in performance outcomes at scale beyond search and social. As Country Manager, Julia will be responsible for overseeing this new focus across the UK.
Joining Taboola with more than 20 years of experience across digital, rich media, influencer marketing and Saas, Julia previously held senior leadership roles at adtech business Inskin Media and online publisher AuFeminin. Most recently, she served as Managing Director at video versioning and content localisation platform ReMake.
Julia will also be working to build and strengthen relationships with some of Britain’s most prominent publications. In October 2024, Taboola announced an exclusive three-year partnership with National World, one of the UK’s largest regional publishers whose portfolio includes the Yorkshire Evening Post and The Scotsman.
