Charlie currently serves as the Head of Strategic Development at News UK, (since Nov 2022). HIs News UK career began in 2019 when he took on the role of Sales Lead for the News UK Social Studio. His innovative approach and keen strategic insights quickly propelled him to the role of Strategic Development Lead - Content (2021), before stepping into his current position. Prior to News UK, Charlie excelled in roles at piE London and Live Nation.

Charlie's contributions to the industry are well noted. In 2020, he was honoured as an AOP Digital Publishing Rising Star, a testament to his growing potential.That same year, he was recognised by Campaign as one of their 'Faces To Watch', cementing his status as an emerging figure in digital publishing.

Today Charlie heads up News UK’s Nucleus team which has under his leadership achieved significant accolades, winning 'Best Data Strategy' at the Digiday Europe Awards (Jan 2024) and more recently the 'Best Use of Data' award at the AOPs (June 2024). These recognitions underscore his talent for leveraging data and partnerships to drive innovative solutions with exceptional results. Charlie’s strategic leadership continues to shape the future of News UK and the media industry.
